      W.E.T (Water Exercise Training) Aquacize – EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY Regardless of your fitness level, you will get a great workout in the water. The Instructors of this program offer years of experience teaching water specific exercise with plenty of modifications to increase or decrease the difficulty of each move, and you’re always invited to go at your own pace. Thanks to the buoyancy of water, muscles are strengthened and cardiovascular endurance improves without subjecting your body to additional wear and tear—leaving you feeling strong and refreshed , not worn out. Aqua exercise also helps you balance out muscle groups that may have become uneven through life’s repetitive actions or injury. Working out in water provides equal resistance through your full range of motion. Better balance means lower risk of injury every day.       Candice works with many individuals at FittWell Centre in many different roles. As the Facility Manager, Certified Trainer and has her diploma in Nutrition, Diet and Health Sciences. She will establish your membership, set you up with your 24hr access privileges and spend time with you during the facilities complimentary training sessions to guide you through  the proper exercise technique and introduce you to the equipment that suits your goals. A great start is the best way to succeed.

      Candice also works with Clients on an individual or partner basis to help you reach your fitness, health and weight loss goals. She can specialize a program specifically for your individual needs including both Fitness and Nutrition to get you the best results possible.

      FITNESS & FRIENDSHIP– EVERY MONDAY AND THURSDAY 9:30-10:30am Morden 55+ Activity Centre and FittWell Centre work together to bring this activity class to the community. Modified exercises are the essence of this program as it is designed to target those with arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and other physical conditions that limit the body’s ability to perform traditional exercises. Each exercise is introduced with several options so that each participant can select the intensity and movement that suits them specifically. The Instructors are certified Fitness Trainers with specific education and training in the areas of modified exercise for pain management, joint and muscle strength as well as cardiovascular endurance. This class offers a great opportunity for all participants to enjoy the benefits of physical activity at a level that each individual can enjoy while in a open, socially inviting environment. Instructor Deanna Baker comments on the program, “This class is based on a simple theory……………….as we age, everyone is going to ‘get a thing’. Your thing could be arthritis, gout, hip replacement, heart condition, osteoporosis, the list is endless but everyone is going to get something. With that, we lead participants through a series of exercises specific to particular symptoms. What we have found is that there are many individuals who may not be experiencing any ‘thing’ at the moment but each one still enjoys the workout and intensity options.” Fees for this class are $_____________for Activity Centre Members and $____________ for Non-Members.       What will I experience in this class? Fitness based workout using un-lit fire props. Use the Moves associated ……  .. with Dance & Fire Performance in this fitness class, while you advance your coordination & skills using the whole body. You will experience >>>>>  Spinning with Poi (balls on chains), Juggling devices, Fans, a Staff and more.  Working directly with fire can be taught after Beginner level is completed. This class is a separate registration. Participants do not have to have a FittWell Centre Membership to participate.
